Your Tax Preparation Expert

Owner Linda Treadway has specialized in personalized and business tax preparation for over 20 years. With extensive experience and a commitment to individual service, Linda takes the time to understand each client’s situation and ensure their return is prepared accurately and thoroughly.

Appointments are available in person at her office at 30 Not A Road in Lyman, Maine, where she meets with clients one-on-one to review documents and prepare returns together. For those who prefer, information can also be submitted via the form below or mail.

Pricing varies depending on the complexity of the return.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

To make the most of your appointment, please bring all relevant tax documents with you. Having everything ready helps ensure your return can be completed accurately and efficiently during your visit.

  • Photo ID (driver’s license or state ID)

  • Social Security numbers for you, your spouse, and dependents

  • Bank account and routing number for direct deposit

Income Documents

  • W-2 forms from employers

  • 1099 forms

  • Social Security income statements (SSA-1099)

Home & Property

  • Mortgage interest statement (Form 1098)

At LT Tax Service, tax preparation is personal, thorough, and done with you — not behind the scenes.

Rather than having clients send in all their documents, Linda meets with each client in person in her home office and prepares the return while you’re there. This allows her to review everything together with you and ask questions that may help identify additional deductions or credits.

During your appointment you can expect:

  • A one-on-one meeting with Linda

  • A careful review of all your tax documents

  • Questions to ensure your return is complete and accurate

  • Immediate preparation of your tax return during the appointment

  • A clear explanation of your results before filing

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my tax return be completed during my appointment?
In most cases, yes. Linda prepares your return while you are there and reviews everything with you in person. Most clients are able to electronically file their return before leaving the appointment, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and fully understand your return before it is submitted.

How long does a tax appointment usually take?
Appointments typically take about 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of your return and the number of documents that need to be reviewed.

Do I need to send my tax documents before the appointment?
No. Linda prefers to review documents in person during your appointment so she can go through everything with you and ensure nothing is missed. If you prefer, documents can also be sent by email or via the form below in advance.
